Sno-cean Lab (2026)

A pop-up exhibit designed, tested, and fabricated during the 2026 Musuem Lab for Museum Professionals program. Inspired by the ice crafting table located at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Sno-cean Lab invites guests to learn about natural forces and color theory through hands-on collaborative play. The exhibit also acts as a dialogue between the two locations in which it was designed (Pittsburgh, PA and Tampa, Florida), specifically how geographic location influences how we play. The design and testing of this exhibit took place over an 8-month period and culminated in a presentation at the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) in September of 2026.
